What? C’mon. You know we love acronyms. Let me explain. We’ve got some new shows booked for the end of this month with STP (Stone Temple Pilots) and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (BRMC). We’ll be playing a lot of new songs from our upcoming record “Good Hands Bad Blood” (GHBB). We are truly honored to be playing these shows. I actually try not to think too much about it really. I start to trip out.

Our show in Tucson with STP and Frank Black was amazing.

The production involved is off the charts. A team of unionized black shirts spent the entire afternoon setting up an enormous video wall, lights, monitor setup, instrument backline, etc. I guess its ironic then that our line check was pushed up so close to the start of the show, that none of had time to change our clothes. Being that we were in the bloody desert heat of Arizona, I was adorned in a dirty white v-neck, cut-off black shorts and a pair of TOMs. I felt a little silly, but it was what it was. We all embraced it and laughed at each other. Like Fred Durst and his red Yankee hat , I might make cut-off black shorts my “lucky show outfit”. Or not. After the show, I spoke with Dan Schmid (bassist for Frank Black) for what seemed like 45 minutes. Really nice guy. Good peeps. Good peeps.
