Interview with Emotional Punk & The Smallest Tour Update in the History of Tour Updates
Tour is going well. We’ve escaped the heat by retreating into the Pacific Northwest. We’re currently in Portland at Brooke and Daniel’s house – owners of the kindest souls in the history of mankind. Their house was built in the early 1900’s. They have a cat named “Jesse” that almost escaped the other night. They made us a “I’m-pissed-off-this-is-so-good” dinner and poured Mirror Pond beer down our throats. (Who knew mayo was NOT needed when preparing an amazing burger?) It’s the next morning now and I’m still good and full. Once again, touring supports my theory that the human race is not all that bad. One TCT tradition is to make it down to Burnside at least once before or after a show in Portland. When we arrived the place was packed. I captured this guy ruling the place like it was a Tony Hawk video game.
In other news, Emotional Punk just posted an interview we did right before our LP release show at Detroit Bar. You can check it out on emotionalpunk.com.
Gotta run. We’re off to Seattle. Time to take an Italian shower.
