In between the craziness that has been “Balloon Boy“, H1N1 and the MLB playoffs, TCT has been lying in the weeds the last couple of weeks.  I’ve had the flu which is/was probably H1N1 but who really cares, right?  I went to see a doctor to determine if I had the swine flu and even she said it doesn’t matter.

“Listen, we wouldn’t do anything different to treat it anyway.  We don’t really treat the flu.  You’re getting better.  Go home and get some rest.”

Thanks doc.  Glad in wasted 3 1/2 hours in your waiting room.  I feel better now.

The swine prevented me from going to the NCLS Game 1 opener at Dodger Stadium.  I was pretty bummed…playoff tickets are hard to come by.  Damn you Robbie and Prickman.  The Dodgers are winning Game 4 right now.  If they can manage to win this series, I’m definitely going to at least one World Series game.

I’ll leave you all with a current band favorite.  I can’t tell you how many times I force fed this one in the van over the last couple of tours.  I love The Streets.  You should too.
