PRESALE: TCT + The Shys, The Steelwells, Yellow Red Sparks, and Aushua @ HOB in Anaheim

KROQ presents The Shys with The Steelwells, Yellow Red Sparks, Aushua, and The Color TurningI’m a big fan of girls but this show might hold the record for “the most good looking dude musicians in one venue” category.  Case in point:  The Shys (to my right) – I mean look at these lads.  Secondly, we’ve toured with Yellow Red Sparks so I’ve seen them in their underwear.  It’s awesome.  Anyways…

As the House of Blues’ website states:

KROQ presents The Shys with The Steelwells, Yellow Red Sparks, Aushua, and The Color Turning

Thursday 10/29/2009
Doors: 07:00 PM
Show: 08:00 PM
Price: $12.50 – GA – Advance
Ages: all

Let me translate the latter for you.  If you buy a ticket through the House of Blues Anaheim/Ticketmaster, you spend $12.50 + $6.10 in extra charges.  If you buy a ticket at the door the day of the show, you’ll be spending $15.50.  BUT!  (In my best Billy Mays *R.I.P.* voice)  If you buy a presale ticket through us, it will only cost you $10.30.  Simple math.  You can pick up your ticket at will call the day of the show.

Presale Tickets: House of Blues, October 29, 2009 ($10.30)

IMPORTANT: Credit card users — please bring proper ID & the credit card used to purchase the tickets to will call for verification. Paypal users — simply bring ID to will call so the friendly staff at the HOB can match it your name.

THIS PRESALE IS CLOSED…

Ladies and Gentlemen…today we have a photo set from our Red Devil Lounge show in San Francisco with Foxtail Somersault, Tomihira, and Tracing Figures. And as you can tell from my awkward facial hair, it was the last show of our August tour.  Big thank you to photographer Tom Becker.  Enjoy.

Instead of trying to explain too much of what the tour’s been like, I thought maybe showing you a few pictures might be nice…

Interview with Emotional Punk & The Smallest Tour Update in the History of Tour Updates

Steve wrote this on August 25th, 2009 | No Comments »

Burnside in PortlandTour is going well. We’ve escaped the heat by retreating into the Pacific Northwest.  We’re currently in Portland at Brooke and Daniel’s house – owners of the kindest souls in the history of mankind.  Their house was built in the early 1900’s.  They have a cat named “Jesse” that almost escaped the other night.  They made us a “I’m-pissed-off-this-is-so-good” dinner and poured Mirror Pond beer down our throats.  (Who knew mayo was NOT needed when preparing an amazing burger?)  It’s the next morning now and I’m still good and full.  Once again, touring supports my theory that the human race is not all that bad. One TCT tradition is to make it down to Burnside at least once before or after a show in Portland.  When we arrived the place was packed.  I captured this guy ruling the place like it was a Tony Hawk video game.

In other news, Emotional Punk just posted an interview we did right before our LP release show at Detroit Bar.  You can check it out on emotionalpunk.com.

Gotta run.  We’re off to Seattle.  Time to take an Italian shower.

TCT Online StoreSo we had our first day off on tour today.  After sifting through a bunch of emails asking where to buy an actual physical copy of the new LP, I decided to build an online store so we can sell it directly. Of course, you can also buy our other records and shirts if you so desire.  Check it out.
