Photos: August Tour [Red Devil Lounge | San Francisco CA]
Steve wrote this on September 14th, 2009 | 2 Comments »Ladies and Gentlemen…today we have a photo set from our Red Devil Lounge show in San Francisco with Foxtail Somersault, Tomihira, and Tracing Figures. And as you can tell from my awkward facial hair, it was the last show of our August tour. Big thank you to photographer Tom Becker. Enjoy.

Hey guys, I did an interview with Ruben from WeLikeItIndie last week before our show in Seattle. It’s short and sweet. Check it out when you get a chance.

Interview with Emotional Punk & The Smallest Tour Update in the History of Tour Updates

Tour is going well. We’ve escaped the heat by retreating into the Pacific Northwest. We’re currently in Portland at Brooke and Daniel’s house – owners of the kindest souls in the history of mankind. Their house was built in the early 1900’s. They have a cat named “Jesse” that almost escaped the other night. They made us a “I’m-pissed-off-this-is-so-good” dinner and poured Mirror Pond beer down our throats. (Who knew mayo was NOT needed when preparing an amazing burger?) It’s the next morning now and I’m still good and full. Once again, touring supports my theory that the human race is not all that bad. One TCT tradition is to make it down to Burnside at least once before or after a show in Portland. When we arrived the place was packed. I captured this guy ruling the place like it was a Tony Hawk video game.
In other news, Emotional Punk just posted an interview we did right before our LP release show at Detroit Bar. You can check it out on emotionalpunk.com.
Gotta run. We’re off to Seattle. Time to take an Italian shower.

So we had our first day off on tour today. After sifting through a bunch of emails asking where to buy an actual physical copy of the new LP, I decided to build an online store so we can sell it directly. Of course, you can also buy our other records and shirts if you so desire. Check it out.

Steve wrote this on August 5th, 2009 | 5 Comments »You can now pre-order your very own physical copy of Good Hands Bad Blood LP! To everyone living in non-TCT toured states, we’re especially thinking of you. Not only do you get a hard copy of the album (with actual down and dirty artwork), but we’re throwing in a copy of the Me Versus Me EP for free! This is a huge bonus because you can only purchase our Me Versus Me EP at our live shows – it’s not available anywhere else. This pre-order scenario will only be available for a few days so click over to the Softdrive website to place your order now. We’ll lick the stamp ourselves.
See everyone at the release show on Thursday!
GHBB LP available 8/6 @ Detroit Bar, actual release date pushed to 8/7
Steve wrote this on August 4th, 2009 | 2 Comments »We just received word that, contrary to what we posted yesterday, our record will not be available today. The official release of Good Hands Bad Blood is being moved to this Friday, August 7th.
The good news is that we will have actual physical copies of the LP on Thursday at our Detroit Bar record release party. The Detroit Bar is a place close to our hearts. And we could not be more excited about this show. We’ve seen and played many great shows there, and developed a lot of good relationships in the confines of that bar. It’s more than a fitting venue to celebrate the release of our first full-length record. Hope to see you there!
